Current Project 5
This project consists of a whole house installation within a large property located in an idyllic setting in South East Essex.
T&T have been asked to refresh and upgrade the existing system to a more contemporary and intuitive one.
The project will include distributed audio and video and the control of lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, gate access control, CCTV, room to room intercom and whole house paging and a voice and data network which will all be integrated into one system. Many of the rooms will be equipped with large format touchpanels with custom designed floor plan based interfaces, making control of all aspects of the residence as simple as possible.
Multi-room Audio Distribution
Multiple areas shall be equipped with speakers; these will include flush-mount ceiling and in-wall speakers. Audio sources will include audio servers, FM programming and iPod docks.
Multi-room Video Distribution
The video distribution system will be fed by video servers, satellite receivers and CCTV feeds along with video sources local to certain rooms. The distribution system will allow any central video source to be displayed in any room equipped with a screen.
Other Control Systems
T&T will also provide control over the lighting system, HVAC system, CCTV system and gate access control system, and will provide status information for all of the above.
The house includes a stunning ‘infinity edge’ swimming pool with waterfall and a separate underground wet area which boasts a steam room, herbal room, foot spas, ice machine and heated loungers – all of which will be comprehensively controlled via the floor plan GUI on the Crestron in-wall touchpanels installed within both areas, or indeed from any touchpanel throughout the house, allowing the owner to prepare the spa area before they enter.
